Dr. Samuel Loh earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Melbourne with exceptional honors. As an undergraduate, he demonstrated remarkable clinical skills, professionalism, and a strong work ethic, consistently displaying a dedication to self-learning. His outstanding academic achievements culminated in him being the top student in his graduating cohort.
Dr. Loh's impressive academic record was recognized with several prestigious awards, including the John Iliffe Scholarship Prize, the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons Academic Prize, the Australian Dental Association Prize for Best Student, and a place on the Faculty's Dean's Honours List. Additionally, he was part of a research group that won the Australian Dental Association VB/eviDent Foundation Research Prize in 2015.
He is deeply committed to a patient-centred approach, prioritizing active listening, respect, and patient involvement in their care. Following graduation, he joined a multi-disciplinary team at a private hospital, where he received numerous commendations from patients for his compassionate and skilled care.
He has also been heavily involved in continuous education, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry and aesthetic procedures. He is certified to perform a range of aesthetic treatments, including Botox and skin boosters, ensuring his patients receive the most effective and safe care.
Beyond dentistry, Dr. Loh is an accomplished athlete, having been part of the Gold Medal National Men's Water Polo team in the 25th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Laos. In his free time, he enjoys road cycling and playing water polo, reflecting his dedication to discipline and excellence in all aspects of his life.
